Consecrate | Books for the 2025 Disciple

The past few months I've been in a still and quiet place. I read these books and the Lord used them to help transform my mind, expose where my heart was not like his, and equip me for what is to come. I'm sharing a list of books that the Lord used to help transform my mind, heal my heart, expose where I was not like Him, and equip me for what is to come. These books were part of a rebirth, a reigniting of my faith and call in the Lord.


Before I get into the books and revelations I received from others, I definitely want to stress the urgency and need for the church, the body of christ, to be reading, meditating on, and digesting the Word of God. The Word of God has been my life line. His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light to our paths(scripture). His word sustains us (scripture bread alone) and it exposes our innermost being (hebrews scripture). The Lord commands us to mediate on His word day and night (joshua 1:8). Whatever we consume is what we become. We have to discipline ourselves in eating the scroll. Just as our physical bodies needs specific foods to thrive so does our spirit. If we eat too much sugar, we get diabetes. Too much salt? Hypertension. Too much alcohol, liver issues. Overeating? We gain weight. Our spirits work the same way. If we expect to grow as believers, if we expect to prove our faith genuine, we must consume the word of God. The word is our only source of nourishment and our only source of truth in this world. It is the litmus that we live by and we need to know it in order to grow, avoid deception, and stand firm in this time.
